The STAR-ledger: NJ writers join the New York Musical Theatre Festival

New marquees on Broadway may be scarce, but there's still plenty to see onstage in New York this summer. In fact, now is the time to see what's on the horizon. The New York Musical Theatre Festival begins performances tomorrow, showcasing 24 full productions plus additional readings and concerts in eight Midtown venues. Shows at NYMF, as it's known, have gone on to widespread success, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning "Next to Normal" and Broadway's "Chaplin" and "[title of show]."
